Login Process
About the 2 Login Types Ultra vs Standard:
Right now, the register page and login page are in standard secured mode, but i'm sure some of you would like to access their members account in SSL secured mode, you should know that the members area is already 100% secured even if you don't see the little lock icon (or if you got a pop up message) (this message can show because on the login page you have the external links of the main categories pointing to unsecured areas, but it has nothing to do with your current login process).
However you surely all trust ebay* to secure your personnal information, and you can notice that it works exactly the same way as on ebay when you browse your member area you can't see that little lock icon in your browser either...
Anyway the point is that for those of you who want to access their members account in SSL secured mode, it's now possible, even if it will slow a bit more the page load times.
So you have the fast ultra secured login form on the homepage, that will bring you to an ssl secured members area. or The standard secured login page accessible by the link under the quick login form, that will bring you to the members area in standard secured mode (this mode will make pages load a bit faster within your members area pages). * registered trademarks of their respective owners

How To Bid
If you have spotted on an item you would like to place a bid on you can do so, quickly and easily by following these steps:-
(1) Login to your account – If you have not registered you can do so within 5 minutes
(2) Visit the auction page, you will see a “bidding box”
(3) Enter in your bid, note that you must bid above the minimum bid required
(5) Click on the “place bid” button, you will then be asked to confirm you bid, once you have done so your bid will be entered, if successful you will receive a confirmation message.
If you bid fails to outbid the current high bidder you will be offered the option to place a higher bid. Proxy bidding can aid your chances of winning an auction and help avoid, you being outbid at the last moment. To place a proxy bid enter in the maximum price you are willing to pay for the item. If another user places a bid on the same auction automatic bids will be placed on your behalf in accordance with your maximum bid amount. With proxy bidding you will pay the lowest possible price until someone else places a higher bid. We Highly recommend that you don't place your bid at the last seconds, as if too much bidders place their bid at same time on the same auction, it could result in a server overload, and in this case your bid may not be accepted by the system in time, and you'll loose the auction. There is another way of bidding: Buy it now auctions. Buy it now prices are set by the seller, if you agree with that price, you can click on the “Buy Now” button which is displayed on the auction details page. After clicking on the button you will be re-directed to a confirmation page. On a standard auction that auction will end instantly as the item has been sold via Buy it now. On a Dutch auction, you can enter the amount of items you wish to buy (depending the quantity available). If you purchase less than there are available in total, the auction will remain open with the number of items left available after you have purchased the amount you want. When you want to update your Bid by bidding again, your proxy bid will be updated, and the system will not show to others you bidded twice on the item, unlike where you know, this means: You avoid jokers bidding on the item knowing you'll still be highest bidder!
How To Sell
Once you have signed up for an account, you will be able to sell items through the site.

Auction watch
This feature notifies you of newly listed auctions which contain “keywords” you have chosen. For example if you are looking for a “Little John” record you could enter in those keywords from within your member’s area. Each time a new auction is listed containing the term “Little John” you will be notified via this web-site. You can enter in as many keywords as you like.
Item watching
The item watch feature lets you keep a close eye on any auction without having to place a bid on it. This feature means you can be kept up to date on how an auction is doing and prepares you to place a bid when you feel it. You can watch any auction by clicking on the “Watch this item” link on any auction page.
Feedback System
Once a sale has been processed, both the seller and the buyer will be able to leave feedbacks for each other. The feedback rating is made of colored stars, and a feedback comment can also be left. The feedback can be left from the “Feedback Center” Menu in Members Area. The feedback can only be left once, and it cannot be edited afterwards. The site admin will reserve its right to delete malicious or outrageous feedbacks. You can either Leave Feedback or View Feedback you received from others.
Why leaving feedback is important on Reggae Auction: Every member has a Feedback Profile, which includes basic information about the member and the Feedback that their trading partners have left for them. Learning to trust a member has a lot to do with what their past buyers or sellers have to say.
For each transaction, buyers and sellers can rate each other by leaving Feedback. Each Feedback consists of a value from 5 to 1, and a short comment.
A buyer can also rate the seller on additional criteria, including accuracy of item description, communication, shipping time, and shipping and handling charges. These detailed seller ratings do not count toward the Feedback Score.
When Browsing through a user's feedback, if there is no username but n/a instead, for a given feedback, this means that this user is no longer a registered user on Reggae Auction.
Let's build the safest community, let's leave Feedback!
