1	(Q) How do I register?
	(A) To register click on the "register" link found on both the header and footer navigation sections
1	(Q) I'm under 21 and can't signup?
	(A) In accordance with standard law under 21's cannot participate in auctions as they legal binding contracts
	Selling
1	(Q) How can I list an item?
	(A) You must first be a registered member. Once you have registered simply login to your account and click on the "Sell" link. The first thing to do is select a general category for your item, note that you can choose a more specific category further into the listing process. You can then enter in your chosen settings and item description
1	(Q) How can I keep track of items I'm selling?
	(A) You can keep an eye on everything you are selling by visiting your members area and selecting the "selling" page.
1	(Q) Can I use HTML when listing an item?
	(A) Yes you can, however we recomend you use basic tags as complex HTML descriptions may not display correctly.
1	(Q) Can I embed my sound files directly in my item description?
	(A) Yes of course!
1	(Q) During the listing process there is an URL field for sound clip addition, how does it work?
	(A)The URL field may not work with all file hosting provider, you should test it with your own to check compatibility. But basically when you host externally your sound files, you just need to paste the Url of your sound clip in that field and hit ?submit?.
1	(Q) How does the fee system works exactly?
	(A) The fee system is based per category and all the fees are flat. On the fees page : http://www.reggae-auction.com/sitefees.php you will see a Choose Category:" field with a category selection tool. Select the desired category and hit the "Select" button. You will be able to view the fees table for that category. Listing enhancement fees are ALSO based per category, for example "highlighted" cost 0,07 USD for a repressed records when it cost 0,20 USD for a 70's record...just because the selling price won't be the same. Here are some example of the end of auction fee per category: Dubplates = 3 USD 60's / 70's and 80's = 2 USD Repressed records = 0,30 USD 90's and up records = 0,60 USD
1	(Q) I can only see one postage section/option how do I add overseas postage?
	(A) You need to select only one option - maybe the regular one, and you can add in the description all the shipping options you offer. Anyway in the invoice procedure you can enter the amount you want in the field depending on the shipping method choose by you or the buyer... it's a very simple and you have total control.
1	(Q) Why listing in second category is disabled?
	(A) Yes listing in second category is disabled, to prevent problems due to category based fees. Our categories are also created so specifically, that it?s hard to believe you could really use that option and even if you would like to list a record from 1970 in the 60?s and 70?s category, please bear in mind that people searching in the 70's category would probably be disappointed to check the 60's category and see the same records.
1	(Q) What are the pictures and soundclips upload restrictions?
	(A) About pictures, only GIF, JPG and PNG images with a RGB color palette are supported and the maximum size of picture that can be uploaded is 400KB. There is no dimensions restrictions. About soundclips, the file types supported are : avi/mpeg/mp3 and the maximum size of media that can be uploaded is 2000KB The site can Hosts the files (pictures and clips) but it can also display hosted images and clips by third parties.
1	(Q) How can i avoid to re-write the same terms and description and speed up my listing process?
	(A) To increase ease and speed of listing, in your members area you have a link / section called: "selling preferences". There you can set some default listing preferences such as: - description - duration - private auction (Y/N) - Swap settings (Y/N) - Shipping conditions - Shipping and payment details text - payment method you accept (check boxes) - postage cost - insurance cost - type of postage service Once you set up that area of your account, you can easyly create an item by only changing: - item title - condition - price - pic - media Tt takes less than 30 sec per item ( without upload time of pic and media:) With pic and media it's around less than a minute to complete the listing.
1	(Q) How can i advert my buyers of current sales or my current unavailability?
	(A) In your members area you have acces to the Global Message System that you can enable / disable whenether you want. And this specific message will be displayed on all your auction pages instantly! You can access it in your "selling preferences" section.
1	(Q) My scheduled items do not start as planned?
	(A) When you want to schedule your items, you need to figure out at what server time you really need your auctions to start. Server Time is shown during the selling process just underneath the RA logo.
	Buyer and Sellers - Tools And Features
1	(Q) The Ebay feedback importer doesn't seem to work?
	(A) Sometimes Ebay servers are updating their IP's and it can take several days, please just try again a week later and it should work well, in the meantime if you are in a hurry, when you have followed the procedure just contact us and we will activate it manually for you.
1	(Q) Can you explain in detail the feedback importer procedure?
	(A) Log on to your members area and go to the ebay feedback importer page : http://www.reggae-auction.com/membersarea.php?page=cma_feedback2 You will see the code you need to place on your ebay about me page, that should look like this: Reggae AuctionXXXusername When you're done, just send us your about me page ebay link that should look like this: http://members.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=yourebayusername Then we will be able to confirm it's you and import your ebay feedback manually,
1	(Q) Can I Add favorite sellers and will I be notified of newly listed items?
	(A) You can add favorite sellers here: http://www.reggae-auction.com/membersarea.php?page=cma_allfavorites There is no capability for now to notify the buyers who added a seller each time this seller post an auction, because it could lead to potential multiple useless emails and useless power consumption and server overloading.
1	(Q) How can i be notified when items I search for are listed on Reggae Auction?
	(A) You can do so here also : http://www.reggae-auction.com/membersarea.php?page=cma_allfavorites You can save your favorites searches AND there is a specific keyword watch feature, that should be what you're looking for... Those two features will notify a buyer when an item matching what they want is listed by their favorite sellers or another seller, for specific searches or if a specific keyword is used on any item title or description.

	(A) You will be able to search for sellers opened or closed auctions and for bidders on that page : http://www.reggae-auction.com/search.php
1	(Q) Why can't i simply search and contact another member?
	(A) The message system is closed to avoid members wanting to contact bidders to make them offers.
1	(Q) How can i check all the auctions of a particular seller?
	(A) On each of the auctions details page you have the : " See all Auctions from this Seller" link.
1	(Q) How can i contact a seller about his items and postage costs?
	(A) You can use this link on each auction detail page "Ask seller a question".
	How to Bid
1	(Q) How can I place a bid?
	(A) To place a bid on an item you must first login to your account. Once logged in a bidding box will be displayed on all auction pages. You can use this box to place you chosen bid
1	(Q) How can I keep track of items I'm bidding on?
	(A) You can keep an eye on everything you are bidding on by visiting your members area and selecting the "bidding" page.
1	(Q) How do I know if I am outbid on an item?
	(A) Our auction system will automatically notify you via email if you are outbid.

1	(Q) is the bid retractation function working?
	(A) Please note only bids placed over an applicable reserve price and with twelve or more hours to run on the auction can be retracted.
	Account Suspended
1	Why am I blocked on the same payment page when i log in?
	When your account is suspended, your account is unacessible, so you're blocked on this page. Your account can be suspended for not leaving feedback, not following a dispute started or because you didn't pay for your site fees. Please check the Help section for more details about that matter.
